Cletus Manson Patrick Tidwell, 64 of Louisville passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Norton Hospital.
Cletus was a Catholic by faith, he attended services at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He worked twenty plus years as an aircraft mechanic for multiple airways, he also utilized his skills as a trim carpenter for more than two decades. Cletus enjoyed riding motorcycles and taking the road less traveled. He liked curling up on the couch and watching old western movies until he fell asleep. He was an animal lover, quick to smile at the wag of a tail. Cletus was kind, and fun loving, a loyal family man, he placed family above all, and cherished every moment with his grandchildren and family.
Cletus is preceded in death by his son Eric Michael Tidwell; parents Elizabeth Louise Railey and Jack Tidwell; and his siblings Randy and Avery Hack.
Cletus is survived by his loving daughter Jennifer Tidwell (John McClure) of Louisville, sister Charlotte Elzy (Jeff) of Bloomfield; grandchildren Dustin Tidwell and Dillon McClure; the mother of his children Mary Tidwell; along with additional family members and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 21st from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
