Christine Kay McDonald, 56 of Shepherdsville, passed away suddenly on May 1, 2020.
Christine was a caring mother with a huge heart. She loved to crotchet, complete her sudoku books, and spend time with her grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren adored her. They will be the first to tell you how great of a breakfast she prepared. She will be greatly missed by all of her friends and family.
Christine is preceded in death by her husbands William Simpson, Franklin “Frankie” McDonald, and James Leddington; her parents John and Christine Nation; her sister Teresa Pierce.
Christine is survived by her children Maria Gambon (James) of Shelbyville, Christopher McDonald of Shelbyville, Carla McDonald (Nick) of Shepherdsville, Carl McDonald (Brooke) of Shepherdsville; her step-daughter Tina Robinson (John) of Frankfort; her siblings Pat Branham of Pee Wee Valley, Brenda Brown of Cox’s Creek, Charlotte McDermott of Radcliff, Debbie Nation of Middletown, Jerry Nation of Middletown, and Sissy Kirchhubel of Cox’s Creek; along with nine grandchildren and many other loving friends and family members.
