Charles Robert Perkins Jr.

March 12, 1956 — July 6, 2023

Charles Robert Perkins Jr., 67 of Shepherdsville passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at his home.
He was a Baptist by faith and attended services at Victory Baptist Church. Charles enjoyed the serenity of nature; he spent countless hours hiking on the search for treasured arrowheads. He had a collection of arrowheads and a love of all Native American artifacts. Charles cared for several cats, which were never far from his side. He was appreciative of his friends and family and loved them dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother Wanda Perkins, and his brother Danny Perkins.
Charles is survived by his children Charles Perkins (Gawanda) and Travis Perkins (Elizabeth); his father Charles Robert Perkins Sr.; siblings Cheryl Perkins, Debbie Raymer (Tim), Barbara Dixon (Brian), and sister-in-law Diana Perkins; grandchildren Oliver Perkins, Kenneth and Samantha Fox; his nieces and nephews Timothy and Aaron Raymer, Jessyca and Davyd Hall, Logan Dixon, and Daniel Perkins Jr.; along with additional family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 12:30 p.m., officiated by Bro. Mark Veatch. Burial is to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time of service.
