Charles Fredrick McKnight, 77 passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Hosparus IPU with his family by his side.
He was born on February 29, 1940 to the late Roscoe and Edna McKnight.
Preceded in death by his parents Roscoe McKnight, Sr., and Edna Luella Wohlgamuth McKnight, and his siblings Roscoe McKnight, Jr., Neoma Rains, Daniel McKnight, Edna Ann Boulton, Timothy McKnight, Dale McKnight, Robert McKnight, and John McKnight.
He was a native of Toledo, Ohio a retired Inspector with the Manatee County Building Department and member of Evangel World Prayer Center.
He is survived by his wife Mary C. McKnight, his children Charles Kevin and his wife Robyn McKnight and Tammy and her husband Philip Polson, his siblings Thomas McKnight of Jacksonville, FL and Eleanor Dennis of Archbald, OH, his grandchildren Lauren Chesser (Cameron), Lindsey Schanie (Grant), Robert McKnight, Micah Polson (Clarissa), Kayla Polson, Kara Sinclair (Joshua) and Alisha Polson, his great granchildren Charlie Chesser, Paisley Chesser, Blakely Chesser, Gabriel Polson and Zane Polson.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Evangel World Prayer and Conference Center 6900 Billtown Rd, Louisville, KY 40299 with Rev. Kevin McKnight and Rev. Philip Polson officiating. Burial will follow in Crosswater Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday at the church from 2-8 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.
