Charles Wendell Dockery

Charles Wendell Dockery 81 of Shepherdsville passed away Friday October 21, 2016 at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit.
He was a native of Texas, a retired builder, an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a Jehovah’s Witness.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Lou Dockery and his parents Romey and Hazel Dockery.
He is survived by his children Tommy Dockery (Kim) of Mt. Washington, Howard J. Dockery of Shepherdsville, Phil England (Vicky) of Atoka, Tennessee, James Wendell Dockery (Marty) of Shepherdsville, Stephanie Wells (Larry) of Louisville and Steven Dockery of Shepherdsville and a sister Norma Jean Kessinger of Leitchfield, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Visitation will Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 until time of service.
Private burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
