Carol Ann Corbett, 80 of Shepherdsville passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Friday, January 24, 2025. The daughter of Robert and Loraine Barger, Carol was born, raised and settled with her family in Bullitt County. She was a Catholic by faith, having attended services at St. Aloysuis Church. She studied business and implemented her knowledge into the everyday workings. She served as the secretary and treasurer of the company but participated in all facets of the business. Corbett Construction is widely utilized and respected, they have built hundreds of homes and completed more than 10,000 commercial projects. The Corbett name is synonymous with quality and that is due to the dedication and commitment of Ed and Carol. She worked hard to have something they could be proud of, together Ed and Carol created a legacy that their sons proudly continue. Carol was a supportive spouse and loving mother, she enjoyed time spent making memories with family, she could spend hours shopping and loved taking her beloved dogs on daily walks. She devoted herself to her family and their business and was perfectly content to do so. Memories may fade but the love shared will forever be cherished.
