Brock Allen Hatfield, 47, of Shepherdsville, KY passed away peacefully Monday, January 29, 2024 with his family by his side. He was a loving father, papaw, brother and friend.
Brock was born June 12, 1976 to the late Curtis Elmore Hatfield and Vivian Jean (Brock) Egelhoff.
Brock was a heavy equipment operator by trade and also very active in coaching sports that include the Bullitt Central High School Track team; Greater Bullitt County Youth Football League (GBCYFL) whom which he coached Lebanon Junction Jaguars; Central Canes and Cedar Grove Vikings. Brock was a member of the New Albany Masonic Lodge, he also had many hobbies, he was always ready to smoke pork butts for anyone at any time, an avid hunter and always ready to help anyone in need.
Besides his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents: Curtis E. Hatfield; Agnes B. Hatfield; David W. Brock, Sr.; Betty J. Brock. He is survived by his children, Morgen Haley Nelson (Justin); Braden Brock Hatfield; two granddaughters, Delilah and Magnolia Nelson; mother Vivian Jean (Brock) Egelhoff; stepfather Larry T Eglehoff; brothers Curtis Hatfield (Karen); Christopher Hatfield (Janelle); nephews Benjamin N and Graham C Hatfield; a host of extended family and friends.
Brock’s Celebration of Life will be Monday, February 5, 2024, 10:30 a.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, 605 S. Preston Hwy. Shepherdsville, KY with burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 4, 2024, 1:00p.m. -8:00p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
