Brandon Elliott Close, 36 of Lebanon Junction, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 7, 2020.
Brandon was a graduate of Bullitt Central High School and a multi-sport athlete who excelled in basketball, football and track. He was also a fantastic artist. From drawing with colored pencils to painting graffiti, he could do it all exceptionally well. Brandon will be remembered as being a good-hearted person who was always worried about other people and putting their needs before his. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents Harry and Mary Billings and Charles “Perk” Close.
Brandon is survived by his beautiful and kind daughter Bailey Mae Close of Louisville; his parents Terry and Susan Close of Louisville; his siblings Dustin Close of Elizabethtown and Amber Close of Louisville; his grandmother Betty Close; his future brother-in-law Austin Dicken, who was like a brother to him; his nieces and nephews Kylor, Emalee, Kooper and Kashton; as well as Shirley and David Hodge who loved and supported Brandon his entire life.
A memorial service will be held at 7pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
Visitations will be Wednesday from 4pm until time of service.
