He was a native of Louisville, a painter and a U of L Fan.
Billy is survived by his sons Preston Murphy of Louisville, Logan Murphy of Bardstown, his parents Marteta Carlson (Robert) of New Albany, IN, Billy G. Murphy, Sr. of Shepherdsville, his siblings Melessa Murphy Sample (John) of Louisville, Shannon Krages Harper of Louisville, Andrew Murphy of Shepherdsville and Joshua Murphy of Louisville and his grandfather Gary Steiger (Doris) of Fern Creek.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday 6:00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Maraman Billings Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1 – 6 p.m.
