Betty Louvennia Thomas

Betty Louvennia Fields Thomas, 80 formerly of Shepherdsville, Ky now residing in New Haven returned to her Heavenly Father on October 24, 2024 with family and friends at her side.

 Betty was born on March 12, 1944 to Mattie Lee Dishon McCubbins and Guy Cecil McCubbins and her biological father Richard Ellis Fields.

 Betty loved to fish and go dancing, loved her U of L Cardinals and Nascar. She was a former employee of the Glass House, Jones Plastic and Prescotech.

 She proceeded in death by her brothers Richard (Buddy) Oscar Fields and Henry Augusta Stansbury, a step sister Darnelle McCubbins, a bonus daughter Penny Carol Raines Gerrard, her two fur babies Molly May and a Little Bit of Honey and the love of her life Albert B. Alcorn, III.

 She leaves to cherish her love and memory her son Gary T. Thomas (Sherrie), her daughters Mattie T. Leslie (Jimmy) and Robin L. Underwood, her loving granddaughters Ariel Newton (Devan), Stacy Thomas (Jasen) and Dakota Thomas, along with 15 bonus grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and one on the way, her brothers Donald W. Stansbury and C.L. McCubbins, baby girl Lady may and a host of other family and friends who loved her.

 Funeral Service will be held 6:00 p.m. Wednesday October 30, 2024 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from noon till time of service.
