Benny L. Dawson 82 of Shepherdsville passed away at his home on Wednesday August 8, 2012.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, retired owner and operator of the old Dawson and Reesor Fuel Oil Service, a member of VFW Post 5710 and a native of BullittCounty.
He was preceded in death by his wife Edith, his siblings Thelma Jean Bryant, Ray, Jim, Bernie and Sam Dawson.
He is survived by his daughter Stacey Cline and her husband David, his grandsons Chase and Alex Cline, his siblings Elwood and Eddie Dawson both of Shepherdsville, Bobby Dawson, Betty Dorsey and Patricia Jackson both of Shepherdsville.
Funeral Mass will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Shepherdsville. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from noon-8 p.m.
