Augustus "Gene" Jett 76 of Shepherdsville and Georgetown, IN passed away August 4, 2013. He retired from General Electric and was an avid Hunter and fisherman.
Gene leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 10 years Denise Shircliff Jett and the mother of his children Delores Smith Jett, his children Janet ( Roger) Mutter, Brenda (Mike) Walker, Patty (Jimmy) Clan, Angie (Blaine) Bennington, Butch (Melinda) Jett and Kyle (Amy) Jett, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, his sisters Lois, Phyllis, Greta, Sue and Betty Lou.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m., Thursday from 10a.m. - 8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
