Annette Elaine Walker, a beloved homemaker and cherished member of her family, passed away on February 24, 2025, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on October 7, 1963, in Louisville, Annette lived a life full of warmth and creativity, leaving a lasting impact on all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Annette took great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a profound love for living the lake life, often spending her days on the water, where she found peace and happiness. Her free spirit was complemented by her passion for reading romance novels, and she enjoyed expressing her creativity through crafts and decorating.

She is survived by her two daughters, Amber Holland and her husband Travis, Amanda Hethcox and her husband Vic. Annette will be fondly remembered by her sisters, Joyce Wine and her husband Gil, Monica Atcher and her husband Kevin, and her brothers, Gary Ashby, Robert Ashby, Eddie Ashby, Richard Ashby, and Marshall Ashby. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Tyler Holland, Brandon Monroe, Jamie Holland, Devon Holland, and Isabella Hethcox, as well as her great-grandchild, Alaina Monroe. Annette was also grateful for her dear niece, Trinia Bell, who provided her with assistance and support, along with Trinia’s husband David Bell, who was one her “#2 fan”. She is further survived by her loyal dog, Shep, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.

Annette was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Joyce Larimore Ashby, and father, Marshall Ashby. She was also reunited with her brother Ricky Ashby and brother Wayne Ashby, embracing them in eternal rest.
