Alvin Eugene Courtney Sr., 80 of Shepherdsville passed away at Veterans Hospital on Friday January 17, 2014.
He was a Army Veteran.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Lillie Courtney.
He is survived by his children Patricia Whisnant of Shepherdsville, Barbara Cook of Shepherdsville, Alvin Courtney Jr. of Leitchfield, Robert Courtney and Dale Courtney both of Florida; his step daughter Doris Estes of Cub Run and step son Donald Payne of Brooks; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
