Thomas Ray Huff Sr., 83 of Shepherdsville, was welcomed home into the arms of Jesus on October 7, 2020.
Tom owned and operated Huff’s Used Cars from 1980 until his retirement. A devout man of faith, he founded Ray of Hope Christian Fellowship in Shepherdsville. His joys in life were the church, his family and the business. A kind-hearted man who believed in forgiveness as taught by Jesus, he was loved and will be missed by many.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Fannie Huff; siblings James Huff, Robert Huff, Edna Ballenger, Louise Crowe and Betty Jane Huff.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Debra Huff; his children Kathy Simmons of Brandenburg, Cindy Dashley of Alexandria, Pamela Phelps (David), Thomas Huff Jr. (Jean), Bryant Coots (Vicki), Brent Coots (Chandra) all of Shepherdsville and Matt Huff (Samantha) of Brooks; his sister Dorothy Howell of Sellersburg, Indiana; 18 Grandchildren along with a host of Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2020 at Ray of Hope Christian Fellowship, 384 Raymond Road, with Rev. David Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Ray of Hope Christian Fellowship Sunday 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.; and Monday 9 a.m. until the time of service.
