Michael Jason Wallace

April 22, 1976 — July 5, 2024

Micheal Jason “CableDawg” Wallace 48, of Shepherdsville passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, at Norton Audubon Hospital with his family by his side.
Michael proudly worked as a lineman amongst a brotherhood, to him, it was more than a job, it was a part of his identity. He enjoyed working and spending time outdoors, riding motorcycles, and tinkering with his truck. He was a metalhead, who turned it all the way up for all to hear. He had a fondness for tattoos, a love of bandanas, scratch-offs, and lucky number 13. His children were his world, his purpose and his peace. Michael was a soul known by many names; Son, Brother, Dad, Uncle Mikey, Beau, CableDawg, and Friend. He made friends from the moment he could walk and talk, he never met a stranger. His energy was magnetic, he had an amazing sense of humor, big inviting smile, and infectious laugh. He was hardworking, giving, loyal, protective, understanding and non-judgmental. Simply put Michael “CableDawg” was just fun to be around, he brought happiness and love into others’ lives, he understood the importance of always being prepared and knowing where one’s towel or bandana was. Michael was a Guide on our tour of the Galaxy, he leaves us with the answer: *42.
He is preceded in death by his niece Heavenly Grace Lester.
Michael is survived by his children Alexis Wallace (Tyler Whisman) of Bedford, Bennie, Matthew, and Adam Brewer, Skilarr, and William “Baby Beau” Wallace all of Shepherdsville, his partner and best friend Amanda Brewer; parents Deborah and William Wallace of FL; sisters Jamie Wallace of FL, and Erin Wallace (Michael Faulkner) of GA; nieces Makayla Lester and Lillian Ashby-Lester; his life-long friend Ron Hicks and lineman brothers Jason Cribbs, Jeff Newsome, and Bob Craig; along with so many more.
