Brenda Susan Duff, 75 of Shepherdsville passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023, at her home with her family by her side.
She was a Baptist by faith and attended services at Belmont Baptist. She retired from Standard Publishing. Brenda was a lifelong member of the VFW post 5710, she served as president for the ladies’ auxiliary, and she was also a proud member of the American Legion. She was known for calling Bingo numbers and was considered a lucky charm to many. She was active in her clubs and community, selfless in her actions. She loved her family, spending time with her grandchildren, and making memories to last a lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Duff; along with her sister Linda Strickland.
Brenda is survived by her children Trish Nelson of Shepherdsville, Russell Hack Jr. of GA, James Hack of Shepherdsville, and her stepson Ray Allen Duff of Louisville; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; along with her dear friends Sharon Hopkins and Bonnie Enlow.
Visitations will be Monday, November 27, 2023, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
Graveside service to be held at Highland Memory Gardens promptly at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Bro. Mark Weird.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully ask for donations towards funeral expenses.
